Stonehenge Hours could be spent debating who constructed this Neolithic monument. What is known is that the stone pillars are five thousand years old, and the arrangement is a tremendous engineering feat, as the stones where moved from many miles away. Visitors may buy tickets to walk as close as 50 feet to the stones, which are now fenced off to dissuade souvenir hunters and vandals, as well as walking around to a viewpoint to see the mystical stone arrangement. Address: At the junction of A303 and A344/A360 Salisbury
